I don't think I am an expert on this. Chloe never barked (now almost 14 months) Then we got Sissy (now almost 5 months old) Sissy barked from day one. Whenever she started her barking, (usually at Chloe) I would interfer and distract her and say "no no - no barking". It took about 2 weeks but she stopped. They will both bark if someone is at the door, but their communication now is more or a low snarl like sound, like arrrrr, to each other. I wish I knew what they were saying to each other tho.
