Default Bottle Feeding Formula

I thought I'd post this since this is what has kept my special cleft palate baby Tia alive and strong so far for 6.5 weeks. Maybe it can help someone else someday. It has 11 Calories per CC verses 1 calorie per CC in the canned formulas. Possibly a sticky??

Bottle Feeding Recipe

11 Calories per CC

10 oz. of canned evaporated milk or goat's milk (not pasteurized cow's milk - this will cause scowers - dogs cannot drink normal cow's milk)

3 oz. sterilized water (baby water or boiled water) this is not needed if using goat's milk

1 raw egg yolk

1 tablespoon regular mayonnaise (optional)

1 cup of whole yogurt (avoid skim or fat free)

1/2 Tsp Karo Syrup or Corn Syrup (NOT HONEY !!!)

Place ingredients in a blender and blend or use a wire whisk. Be careful to not over blend and create a milk shake full of bubbles.

Keep cool and discard leftovers after 7 days.
