Well, you might get negative responses, but what can you do?
Yes, people make a free website themselves, but it will not look like a person who's gone to school and/or has experience in web design. If you want a professional look with cool designs and such (unless you are a professional) you'll have to hire someone, and that costs $$$. This is the company that we're using for the squad:
http://www.smldesign.com/. Sue told me that she charges about $1500 to set one up! So as I said, you're not just making a crappy old "do it yourself" site, you're a professional who knows what she's doing.
