Took Sophie to the vet today. The doctor said that the rash could be infected from her itching at the skin, so he gave her an antibiotic (for 14 days) and an anti itch med (for 7 days.) We don't know what may have caused the initial rash, so we are just going to treat this one first and if it comes back or doesn't go away, etc. then we will have to do a skin scraping test and investigate further. I am hoping that it clears up and goes away. She has been wearing her longer sleeved hoodie to keep her from scratching or messing with it at all.
