You're right,
I don't like it either, but it's the way things are today. They show everything on TV and no topic is TABOO. They openly discuss homosexuality, erectile disfunction, child molestation, menstrual cycles and masturbation.
If you don't act shocked and just simply explain things, kids will just take it in stride. Don't give them anymore information than what they ask for.
I was sitting in a restaurant with my grandchildren and the man in the next booth was talking on his cell phone and every other word was the F*** word.
Some people are just pigs. I would have said dogs, but my yorkies definitely have more class than some people do.
