i use the pads they sell at Petco, they worked on my baby. what you'll need to learn is his bathroom patterns and signs, that will help you a lot to bring him where he needs to go. i don't suggest newspapers because they dont absorb and he'll end up stepping on it. you MUST be consistent and try to place the pad in the same spot you want him to go on. most of all, be patient, they will learn.
