Oh Lord I'd hate to tell all the stupid decisions that I made in the name of love. Don't beat yourself up over this. Deal with the situation at hand.

Is your name on the title as well? Is the loan tied to the car, as is, there a lein on the car. Is he a cosigner on the loan? Do you have a contract with him for the money?

If all else fails, take him to small claims court. Judge Judy would mop the floor with that loser.

If there is a lein, contact the bank and tell them the circumstances and tell them to reposses. If there is no lien then I'd be contacting a lawyer.
