My Yorkie Biggie Smalls is tiny; 2lbs. 5 ozs. He also has a sister Chihuahua who is 4 lbs. I currently have 4 baby gates from walmart, which I like because they are only $10/ea and I need quite a few.

I need either a shorter gate (maybe 14"-18") so we can better step over them repeatedly without taking them down all the time. Or... I saw a wood gate in the "skymall" on a flight some time ago that showed a gate that you install in the doorway, and then you can actually open a 'door' in the gate (which spans most of the doorway and has a latch of some sort on top to open/close it) without removing it from the doorway.

Please let me know if you have any suck referals or suggestions.
