I'm glad everything turned out OK. My ears hurt just thinking about what you went thru. And shopstump, Bless your BF. What a big heart he has. I had always wanted to be a vet. Then one day someone told me I might have to put an animal to sleep. End of that career choice. I couldn't do it.
I have the upmost respect for firemen. I worked with several retired NYC firefighters when in SC, and the stories were unbeliefable. They will never get the total respect they deserve. And I guess I better start getting an escape plan around. Cats, birds, fish, dog and sleeps-in-a-coma dtr to worry about. |
