My husbands a fireman and hes told me that theyb are trained not to go after animals as the risk of a fireman losing their life over a dog isnt worth it. He also says that animals will be the first to escape if they smell fire. Saying all that if we ever had a fire Id be the first to get my Yorkies in my arms and get them out straight away,no messing. Id be like a packhorse with the kids and dogs!!! You never know when there could be a fire,the stories Ive heard are shocking so always be prepared.

Oh my goodness, thats sad, I guess it makes sense, but its still sad. Maybe my boyfriend is looking after the wrong field, hes in school to be a fireman right now, but he is a HUGE animal lover, hes a real big softy when it comes to animals, I know he would go in and save the dogs if everyone was out of the house.

He works at a Vet as a helper right now, he ended up crying on his break because he thought they were sedating a sog and it ended up they put the dog to sleep, and my boyfriend was like right next to them as they did it.
