My previous yorkies never ran, but i never had them fenced. right from babies they stuck by me. These guys are both babies yet and have pretty much always been fenced so I don't trust them.

I think obedience class might help with a running problem. Teaching them to stay near you and to stay where you put them, and to come when called. I'm taking mine to classes now, I hope it helps.

Most of the ones that have been lost were frightened by something.
