Yeah, I do a lot of talking to CHloe & Sissy. Chloe acts like she understands, meanwhile Sissy looks at me like I am nuts. I say Mom will be easy, Mom will be easy, all the way through Chloe's long coat & her underarms. I say the same to Sissy, she is short but she is a sissy (no pun intedned) I do not think Sissy was handled like Chloe was in her first 3 months. So Sissy is a bit skiddish about touching still (not for long) I also sing to them. A soothing voice goes a long way, and never ever brush in a hurry, make it a relaxing bonding experience.
I cut nails for my very first time today!!! Hooray
It went well. Sissy taught Chloe how to sit & take it like a Yorkie. Chloe used to scream (sounding like a child) I just did the very tips. The Mgr of PetSmart that taught me said just do tips every week until I get the hang
When I get time, I am going to take a grooming class but learn only to groom Yorkie's - no one else
