yes i know, some ebayers use shipping to make more money. i would never send anything media mail now that i know it gets lost so much. i dont think $4 is too much to mail a book
or you could do what i did, pack it weigh it, measure the package, and use the calculator....then they click calculate and it will tell them exactly how much it will cost from your house to theirs
