I have put some pets in a crate before. but i do not now. I find someone to babysit my dogs or they are gated in my kitchen which is large.My daughter pens her dogs in a crate and she is gone for hours. he is very mischief when he is out. I do not think it is wrong to crate them but, if you can figure out another way that is better, great, How ever my Buddy was crated and now he lays in his crate all the time open. It is what is best for you and your situation and your furbaby.. good luck
