I guess you could say I cheated because I got out of training a puppy as Sadie came to me just a few months shy of being 3 years old.
I never got another one until now because I get too torn up when I lose a pet.
I also am one of these people who plans my entire life around a dog when I get it, and this is not always good. But, my parents live next door to me, and Sadie has a second home so I can come and go pretty much and she will have a good place to crash.
I just love this dog so much. My neighbors probably think I have flipped out.
LOL Sadie loves to be brushed, wear bows/berets in her topknot, and just in general she loves it all. She even likes to wear sweaters. I had it on her just once as we had a cold day last week, so now I know she will wear them when the cold weather comes. My 86 year old neighbor does not like dogs, so he is getting a real show as he looks right at my house. LOL
