These people are 30 minutes away and I toured the entire facility before I bought Lucy. They don't use cages, they all had doggy doors leading to nice, clean, long, fenced in running areas. They took turns with the dogs taking them into their home (which is less than 25 feet from the facility) and had a separate "playroom" designed for the puppies to play in while you made your purchase. The owner also took the time to give Lucy a bath (showing me how to do it), clean her ears, blow her dry, and gave me a puppy packet with enough food and supplies for a month.
