I read the direction and it says retreat after rain. It hasn't rain here in a month. so I am not sure. I water my flowers ever night and I only applied once.It seems to work for me. but it does say retreat after rain or at least once per week until defecating stops

ALSO SAYS ON THE BOX PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENT

HARAZDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS PROLONG USE CAN CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTION.
