I was shocked to say the least, I gave her back her money minses the Vet bill, she never even once took them to get any puppy shots or anything, they just had the shots they had got from me !! i sold them next day to lady that had bought their litter mate, so now all 3 girls are in the same home and I visit once in awhile they live about 1 hour away from me. sooooo I too would like to know how to go about screening buyers, they can tell you anything, and the realllly surprise you!!
This is a perfect example, no matter how much a person pays for a dog (or any animal) doesnt' mean they will take care of it any better than a person who gets one for free. I bred my golden retriever many years ago...I sold one to a college girl...seemed nice and seemed to really love this puppy. I went out during the day and when I came home the puppy was left in my yard and the girl left a note stating she had stopped payment on her check! I would have taken the puppy back in a heart beat! just wish she hadn't left her in the yard...THANK GOD! we lived in a private area where we didn't get alot of traffic! and the puppy stayed in the yard..
