I'll just tell about my first litter-- this lady got my # from my vet, a cat had got ran over in front her house and she took it to my vet to have it's leg set, and I thought wow!! if she would do that for a stray cat that got hit in front of her house she would be a good mom for 2 of my puppies, she wanted them for her 2 girls. she paid $800.00 each and I even went to her house just 1 mile away and saw her home, very beautiful ;stayed about an hour and then visited my 2 little girls every other month, when they were 6 months old she called and said she didn't want them anymore!!!!!!! I was shocked to say the least, I gave her back her money minses the Vet bill, she never even once took them to get any puppy shots or anything, they just had the shots they had got from me !! i sold them next day to lady that had bought their litter mate, so now all 3 girls are in the same home and I visit once in awhile they live about 1 hour away from me. sooooo I too would like to know how to go about screening buyers, they can tell you anything, and the realllly surprise you!! |
