Coco is tiny at 4 lbs but sometimes the small would be awfully small. But I guess it depends on what you're buying. Like when I bought her sweaters, jammies and jackets I wanted them bigger so I bought medium, and after a couple of washes they were perfect and they were just roomier. But tshirts and stuff I bought small, cause medium was wayyyy too big.
