Sad Simon is at the Vets

I have a 13 year old cat and he has always had urinary track problems. He's had surgery, but has always had/has problems. Well he's been peeing outside his box again. (on my carpet , in the bath tub, in the bathroom and today we found a piece of plastic down in the basement filled with pee!) There is one thing I can't stand and that is the smell of kitty pee!

Well I feel bad, I'm supposed to have him on feline X/D and of course, the cost of it and only being able to get it from my vet.....well...I took him off it and have been feeding him a regular food for urinary health.

So I took him in and they are going to do an xray (which they said they may have to put him out for ), check his urines etc......

I'm at my wits end....I feel so bad for him But I also can't take anymore of him peeing in my house.

Sometimes? And I'm soo sorry to say this....I just want to put him outside!

Any advice out there???
