That's the exact reason I won't cosign for anybody. Don't wanna get screwed in the end.... Doesn't he have a parent or something who could cosign? I doubt you're the only person that can help him.

If he can't do it, get the car back and sell it to pay the loan off.... If you let him keep doing this you're risking your credit... Over time it could mean higher interest rates on your own credit cards and loans. Credit ratings can effect your insurance premiums too. Could cost you thousands in interest in the long run (especially if it affects a home loan!)... There's too much at stake. Hopefully he's only missed one payment so far. Get this fixed before it gets worse.

Do I sound like some kind of a hard @$$ here? My dad instilled these huge money/credit card/loan management values on me. He drilled this into my head and now I'm all anal about it too!
