That was really really good! I can tell you first hand now, that you have to be in love with these dogs to even have a "inkling" of sense as to how much time and $$$ it takes to even do this 1 time!!! All the reseach it took before, during and after breeding, and did I mention the $$$$ for all the Vet appts, the supplies used, the suppies you might need to use, testing, buying your dogs that you might plan to breed, rearranging your whole life to be available before, during and now after the whelp. But you know what....I have the fever... I would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Another thing to think about...If you have a spouse or S/O, you better have a patient one, because with your nose in books and on the internet studying and the time spent with your babies, it doesn't leave much time for anything else. Maybe I'm obsessed with this, but I feel like you need to be, JMHO.
