Welcome to Yorkie Talk.
You will love it here there are so many nice people here that will help you with any questions you may have.

Thank goodness she now has a new home to take care of her.
One of things you will find is that Yorkies can be a little more difficult to house break. A few things that you may try are: set a timer to remind your self to take her out. When she goes potty outside, praise her, let her know that she is the best dog in the whole world. Be prepared, accidents will happen. If you can not keep an eye on her or you need to leave her home or at night put her in a crate. Most of the time they will not go where they have to lie. Even though there are some that don't seem to mind.

Many people also use pee pads. You can train them to use them indoors.

There are several threads about housebreaking, just because it can be so challenging.
You can do a search and see what comes up.

Good Luck!
