A good rule of thumb is nothing under 5 pounds. Although, weight is a consideration, there is another thing to consider; free whelping, if you can fit 2 fingers between her pelvic bones, and 3 fingers between between her vaginal opening and anus there is a better chance she'll be a free whelper, however, that is hoping there are no complications.
