Charlie was just rehomed with me on Tuesday. He is 9 months old. Training is the same as a young puppy. I recommend that you try to educate the husband on crate training as it really makes things easier and is not cruel used in the proper fashion. It is not however impossible to housebreak an older dog without crate training..
