If you see a sac and there is no progress in an hour, I give a shot of oxyie..you will need your vet to give a shot if you are a novice....I would not prolong this since it is getting later in the day..your vet may close..can you get them after hours?

PS...resting sounds like labor has stopped..this is when the vet can check her and see if a shot is needed to restart the labor.
