Some very well known transplanted breeders have had to return to the PA/Md area to finish a correct coated Yorkie..

Lynda, I am sorry for your troubles..if AKC will do nothing, perhaps you can go to Small Claims court and sue the breeder who SOLD you an AKC dog.. It is very puzzling the breeder has no idea who the "possible" sire could be..could she go through her records and give AKC the where abouts of every stud/male she has ever owned, then have them checked if they are still living..the problem is..you can not DNA a dead York or the breeder has no idea where it is..sometimes dogs change hands many times after leaving the breeder..

Well...this is a disturbing story.....Pat....how would someone purchasing a AKC Yorkie be assured that their pup actualy HAS the lineage the Breeder SAID it did!
