My friend needs some advice (no, really...it IS for my friend!). She has the opportunity to get a 7 month old Yorkie from the humane society in her area but he isn't house broken. I told her that crate training shouldn't be a problem even at 7 months but she said her husband doesn't want to crate train a dog...he thinks it's cruel.
I told her I would help all I can if she gets him so...does anyone have any advice for her? I've always got my Yorkies when they were young...is the training any different with a 7 month old? I don't know if he's neutered or if he's marking...she's going to let me know all that later.
