I had a complete hysterectomy @ 35 and started having hot flashes in the hospital!
After 6 months of AGONY I began the hormone replacement therapy ( I was crying one minute and ready to kill the hubby and kids the next) and I haven't looked back. I still have flashes, but not as bad.
The best thing I've ever done is to buy one of those gel packs you put in the freezer. When it gets really bad you put it under your armpit and it cools you off faster than anything else I tried.
