Chicken Soup for the Dog brand dog food was recommended to my mom's maltese because she had horrible tear stains. Have you considered switching Sadie's food?
I had Misha's eyes checked at the vet for this. She was in for surgery to have some baby teeth removed. He did several tests while she was under. After surgery the vet said, good news they are not clogged. Hers are normal. So my next step is tetracycline.
