No, she's not mad.
It's possible that she's anxious like Erin suggested. It's also possible that pottying appropriately is only rewarding when you are home. When you are there, she's praised (& probably treated) for doing it right. She doesn't get that when you're not there.
Keep up with the positive reinforcement for pottying appropriately. She'll eventually get so used to the feel of pottying where you want her to (on grass, if you're training her to go outside), that she will prefer to go there all of the time.
It takes time and patience. Don't get frustrated yet, okay?
