I doubt mine will ever sleep with us as we're just neither one the type that wants a dog in our bed. Plus i sleep so sound it can storm and not wake me up. And I know a girl whose friend let her yorkie sleep with her and it jumped off and broke its neck one night. I rather know where mine are and know their in a place where I wont roll over on them and smash them to death. Hubby use to put the kids in our bed when they were tiny but he put them on his side of the bed. I was too scared I might roll over on one till they got bigger. I'm awful when it comes to waking up but yet I can not recall ever at any time not hearing one of my kids at night when they woke up. Sometimes before hubby did. Maybe it was the mother instinct or because I worried about them so scared I wouldnt hear them when hubby worked nights. But they were older then. not just a few weeks or a few months old. |
