Don't know about Fl, but I think most papers start out like that. Sounds like there will be alot of fighting for rights between the lawyers. Unfortunately, it usually takes a slightly crooked, or extremely powerful attny to win. Good luck to your brother in his hunt for the right representation. Just make sure whoever it is, that they know exactly what they are doing (yes, this is coming from experience - the losing end). I hope it works out for him. If she has the right attny, and he doesn't, he could still end up paying for things he can't. I ended up paying for my husband's support and alimony(we live in a non-alimony state) and we weren't even married because he was misrepresented. So, PLEASE, make sure he finds the right person.
