yes i think in some ways your right, there are fewer people in the uk so when us the uk public dont like something word of mouth spreads and it makes people think maybe people who b4 didnt even think about if it hurts the pup or if it should be done now they are no longer working dogs, then when a lot of people think about it they dont agree with it and it was then made illegal. the kids of today might be brought up thinking its wrong but still make up there own minds about it, when i was growing up it was normal to have it done and i never even thought about weather it was right or wrong but as soon as i did think about it when i had my pups i didnt think it was right to chop off there tails cos thats how a standard yorkie looks or thats how most yorkies looked at the time so i didnt have it done.
