ok everyone- I'm thinking about getting my second pup. My poor Maggie is so bored without a play buddy. I'm a little nervous to get a second furkid though.. I love taking maggie for rides with me.. or on walks, or in her bag. I'm scared that if i have two I won't be able to devote my time to my first. I know most of you have two so could you please offer some advice to how you handled this change.

Also, I'm not looking to get another purebred puppy. I'm a college student and paid A LOT for Maggie. She was worth every penny and I don't regret it a bit. However, I know I can get the love from a puppy no matter whether it is registered or not. I've found a couple here and there: a yorkie-poo, a yorkie-chi, and a yorkie-maltese. They're all only about $150-200 which is outrageously cheap compared to Maggie. Does anyone have any advice about any of these mixes? I don't want to get anything much bigger than Maggie (5pounds) because I live in an apartment and I would hate to do that to a dog. Plus, I don't want to bring in another dog bigger than maggie and there be a struggle for dominance. I'm just looking for suggestions or information about any of these mixes.
