Your little girl shouldn't be bred until her 2nd heat or 18 months. Yes, they do charge a stud fee and fees vary, dependent on the pedigree. Reputable breeders expect you to have your girl tested for genetic problems and any health issues. There are other factors to be considered. I suggest you do some research, it's not an easy undertaking.
