I have a maltese and a yorkie, they are like best buds with each other. I am getting another yorkie very soon and hopefully in a few months, around Christmas, I am getting another maltese from my friend. The maltese I have I got from my friend and paid $200 for him, he could have been free if it weren't up to the husband.
The biggest difference between my yorkie and my maltese and many others agree, is that my maltese is such a cuddle bug, he loves to cuddle. He is truly a lap dog and more laid back and I heard that maltese are just like that. You won't regret getting one, especially if you want a dog to cuddle you and be a true lap dog like a maltese!!!
