LOL My $1.00 Dollar General Preggy Test was DEAD RIGHT...now 6 months pregnant! ha! Actually some of the cheaper ones are better than some of the more expensive ones according to some research that has been done, the most accurate and earliest testing brand is Wal-Mart Equate brand believe it or not.
As for doggie pregnancy, at 4 weeks gestation, a good vet should be able to palpitate and tell you. If she is too muscular or tense for palpatation, you can do an ultrasound if you are really that eager to know. I have a bitch who SHOULD be 3 weeks pregnant now, but is too muscular to palpitate...so we shall just wait and see!
