I guess it's a personal decision, but I personally would never spank one of my babies. It just doesn't work for me, I'm not for it. I'm so scared of injuring them. I just don't have it in me to spank a 5 pound dog. Plus yorkies are very stubborn and it may not have any affect on them. I used to tap my 130 lb. great dane on his rump, when he misbehaved. But I was so scared of injuring him, that I would do it very lightly,so he always thought I was petting him, and he would move his head by my hands, so I could rub his ears. LOL. I guess I just don't have it in me.
