Be aware that a healthy pup still requires vet's visits for vacinnations. Generally your breeder takes care of one set of these. There are 3 plus the rabies shot. Plan on these visits to run $100. a piece. Plus the cost of neutering at about 6 months. My initial pet supplies cost me another 100 bucks. House training will take considerably longer if you don't have the time to spend with the puppy. You may want to wait until your finances aren't so tight and you have more time to spend with a puppy.
