I need to vent...
Alost 2 years ago I got 2 yorkies from the same lady, they HAD AKC papers.
And the line was a great, healthy line.
trying to make this short.
One yorkies name is Paris and she had a litter, I went on line to get the AKC puppy papers and was told some thing was wrong, I called AKC..........
Well it seems the Grandfather is not her grandfather. So AKC said they are working on it. Mean time one of Paris pups stops eatting, after test we find out it has liver shunt ! We then had Paris and all the pups tested, thank god they are all fine. We got the little puppy help and he did fine, and Paris will not be having anymore pups.
Then we find out Paris grandmother is not her grandmother.
I'm sure now everyone wants to know who the breeder of the father is, well its Carol Woods.
AKC has tested every dog she has and nothing!
So we paid for a good healthy AKC line and got everything but.
There are 24 dogs that have lost AKC paper now and can do nothing.
Want to know what AKC is doing, nothing ! They say they can not prove
she or the lady she sold the litter to mixed them up.
The lady she sold the litter to had no other puppies at that time.
What are we the owners of these yorkies going to do, at this time we
don't know.
What is the breeder going to do, nothing!
I know 2 other memebers of this group also have yorkies from this mess, maybe they will tell you their tails too.
I have heard so many storys where our yorkies came from and we can maybe prove it, but then what ? all this would prove is there was no mix up!
What would you do ?
What can we do ?
I would like to hear what everyone has to say, I know the other 2 memebers would too.
