Well, Autumn has her tail docked and we didn't have a choice in the matter. The breeder had done it himself when she was 3 days old and he did it too short. We have lots of problems with her stub as we call it. She is constantly digging at it and we have made numerous trips to the vet for creams and medication to help keep it getting infected. It is too short and looks like it didn't heal right. So we don't dock tails on our pups. We see no need since they aren't show dogs and we like the "natural" look. Most vain we get is bows in the hair LOLOL
