The Biewers "do have a standard" where the rest are don't... That is what sets us apart from the rest. We DO NOT (or at least I don't) want the Biewers to became lumped in with the Yorkshires in AKC! If we follow Germany Mr. Werner didn't want them to be either! They are a breed of their own, even though they are established from a yorkie they were breed for a standard, just as the yorkshires are. I know it gets confusing... and you will find many different opinions and goals for the Biewers. None the less they are beautiful little doggies and I am very blessed to have them in my home!! They are the greatest and if you ever have the chance to meet one do it!!!
Several of us will be in CA this weekend for the biggest turn out in American so far and it will be very exciting to see 15 plus Biewers in the show ring!!!!
