I highly recommend this one dog boutique and "social club" called Lexidog in the Pearl District. The staff are very knowledgable, FRIENDLY, and genuinely interested in dogs' well-beings. They're a fun staff and they're SO kind and love dogs... you can just tell.
They have daycare (we're going to send our Beagle there) and they are really good w/small dogs - on Sundays they have a playgroup, divided into weight class. From 10am - 12pm they have small dogs under 12 lbs, from 12 pm and later, other weights. It's a great place from what I can see.
We haven't sent our Beagle there, yet, but we have an evaluation on Friday and we hope this will help her with her shyness. When we get a Yorkie we will send him there, since they seem to be VERY good with small dogs - many of the staff own small dogs. One girl had a chihuahua with her, and the place's mascot is a min-pin.
They have other locations, also, but we have only visited their Pearl District space.
Anyway, long post - but I think it's a good place.
