It depends on the location. I give people the choice between media mail which runs from 1.60-2.70 or priority which can be 4.60+. Media mail is a cheaper way to ship books, but you have to mark it MEDIA MAIL on the package. The cheaper your shipping the more people will buy. But ebay provides free priority boxes while I buy the cheap bubble mailers at Office supply stores or reuse whatever comes to the house for media mail.
But if I have books, I sell them on half.com because they sell faster and better on there. I've already sold about $150 worth in the last week on half.com alone selling 7 books. They don't charge your account anything, they only charge you after what you sell, they take a % of commision out of it. The only thing is that you have 3 buisness days to ship the item, but you can mark your account as "on vacation" anytime. The smart thing to do is to check how much the book is selling on half.com and ebay. List your book on whatever site is selling the book for the most $$$. Good luck.
