It's a reaction from the anesthetic. Just keep her warm but under close eye.

I'd keep the cotton ball on for a couple of hours...but watch it so that it isn't getting soaked with blood (a sign for a vet visit).

After a couple of hours and she is recovered from anesthetic, remove the cotton ball and she should keep this area clean.

Did the vet not give you written instructions on how to care for her?
