 How to catch a scamer!
I am looking for a female yorkie for a playmate for Chewie. I was looking around the internet to check out some mixed breeds and came upon Yahoo classifieds where many people are giving away Yorkie pups! I emailed 2 of them who are in my driving area and told them I could pick up the pup and avoid a stressful flight, because they wanted me to pay for shipping. Then I get an immediate response that he & his wife are on a mission in Africa and have the pup with them. I will have to pay for the shipping if I want to have her. It is amazing how many people who have yorkies are in Africa on missions!!! I knew it was a scam but had to see for myself if they would let me come and get her by car and she would still be free. Silly me!! I know where I can get some beautiful puppies here in the high desert and I have even seen them with my own eyes. |
