Ah, this post hits such a sore spot in my heart at the moment. My experience is a bit different.
This is the first year I will not be going back to school because I got my BA degree in May. I've decided to take a break before going on to graduate school, and it feels kind of... empty. I've gone to school at the end of August since I was 6 and now, september will come and I will be home
Don't get me wrong, I really like having all the time in the world, reading whatever I like and whatnot, but I miss school already. I've decided to teach myself French, knit more, and write a scholarly article when the schools start so I don't get too depressed. But I know it won't be the same.
Well, anyway, sorry for venting but I wanted to share.
