$7500 is an awful lot for a pup. Heck, that's a lot for some horses I've seen!! Unless the pup was born with a championship at show, or some other kind of spectatular award bestowed upon him/her at birth!! (I've got a whole litter that I'd sell to you for less!)
I would definately stay away from ANY breeder that hung up on me, or wouldn't answer questions. I know most of the time, I ask too many questions of the prospective new owners!! I only hung up on one prospective owner that couldn't understand that after she told me she had had 3 pups die from Parvo in less than a year, I didn't want to sell her one. She said "Its MY money, why should YOU care?" I said "Because it's MY pup, and I DO care!!" Then...I hung up!!
